The Mental Health and Primary Care Research Group of IDIAP Jordi Gol has a consolidated line of work for more than 15 years in the field of mental health and primary care. It is formed by family doctors, nurses and other professionals interested in research and professional development in the area of mental health and primary care.
The scientific objective of the group is broad and includes the study of epidemiology, clinical and therapeutic aspects and care innovation in the area of mental health in primary care.
Specific lines of current research: physical health of TMS patients and coordination between PC and mental health for their clinical approach; study of multimorbidity and its relationship with mental health; prevention of mental disorders in the infant-juvenile population; impact of the pandemic on the mental health of health professionals and patients.
